Kanturk Communnity App app for iPhone and iPad

The Kanturk Community App has everything you need to keep in touch with what is going on in your town.

With this App you now have all the information you might want about Kanturk, in one convenient location on your phone or smart device.

Within the App you will find 15 separate features.

These include:
An event guide - This feature is free for anyone to avail of. You simply send in an email with your event details on it and it will be placed in the App for all the users to view.

A digital notice board - The notice board, once again, is free for anyone to avail of. Again all you have to do is send in an email and your notice will be displayed in the App for the users to view. This will be used as a traditional notice board to post things like available jobs, lost and found items etc...

An hourly local weather forecast - This feature ties in with Accuweather. It is set to display the current hourly forecast for Kanturk, meaning whenever you use this feature it will always display an up to date weather forecast for Kanturk.

An image & video gallery - The image and video galleries are two separate features. Both will display only locally based content and both are available to the public to use. This means anyone can submit a photo or video to have placed in the image or video gallery. Non-commercial material only.

Kanturk GAA - This feature is tied to the Kanturk GAA Twitter account. It is dynamically integrated so that whenever the Twitter account is updated it will automatically update within the App.

Cork safety alerts - This feature displays the Cork Safety Alerts Facebook page. It is also dynamically integrated, meaning whenever the Facebook page is updated it will also update automatically within the App.

A local business directory - This feature will eventually have a full list of all the business and trades that Kanturk has to offer. Each business will have their own listing that will include a click to call function, directions to the business location, information about that business, their social media accounts built in and more.

A weekly local special offers feature - This feature will give any business listed within the Apps business directory the ability to display a special offer to the users of this App. The feature will be updated once per week with new offers and you will get a notification once the feature has been updated with the new special offers.
